I AM ... Beautiful ... Bad ... Unforgettable ... Letting Go
Beautiful, (or as the album's title would have it - I AM Beautiful) is the albums first single which will debuted on 12.3.12
A ballad written by Fancy depicting her own personal issues she's had with body and self acceptance issues growing up and even in to her adult years.
"It's personal, it has a sexual and sensual side, it shows my fierceness and vulnerability. It's me it is everything I Am...."
Project - BeYOUTiful
12.3.12, along with the launch of her albums first single Beautiful, Fancy's kicking off a new campaign called Project BeYouTiful.
Project BeYOUtiful is geared toward inner-city youth working for positive change. Our goal is to inspire youth in local communities to not only feel good about themselves but to empower others as well.ll
BeYouTiful will focus on youth in communities accross the country, in an effort to inspire the beauty inside them. Intended to reach thousands of todays youth, Fancy plans on spreading the word on selflove and acceptance.
"The world we live in today exposes our young people to harsh unrealities related to body image, sexual preferance, economic status, from the clothes they wear to the people they associate with. There's an underying issue that is rarely addressed, and if more kids and sometimes adults knew how to just be themselves and not care to enthuse the judgemental people around them by being something their not, I'm willing to put my own struggles out there and share how I overcame them, if it means making a difference."
Project BeYouTiful is still underway, check back for more details soon...
